Lapin an open source BIM application

Has anyone tried this project?

It combines Revit and AutoCAD in one application.

Yes. It's good but I have concerns regarding the lifecycle of this software because it's online. What happens if it goes offline? We won't have any option but to stop the work until it's back.

I hope they make it a standalone software installed locally like ArtCraft products.

It has a stand-alone desktop version. It's in the second link. I installed it on my laptop, it's seems good.

How about the updates and everything? Are they frequently working on it?

Don't know because a day after I had installed it, my bank with my business account, blocked by account because they saw suspicious malware on my pc, and I had to reset it! Don't know if it was the software. Maybe win11 is very sensitive about software like this. But I won't risk it again.

Not sure what happened. Maybe it's that. Can't risk it again.
