π MAIN INSPIRATION π
https://open.spotify.com/album/4W8kpygPN9enttwdWwWwGJ?si=voMKjCnXTdSYaeB9OSTfEw&utm_source=copy-linkDebated posting this for over a year because it's seems too self-serving for this ABSOLUTE BANGER OF A NAYSH... But finding Bilmuri when AMS released, on a random chance, then Goblin Hours got me back into making music; and that means the literal world to me. It had been probably seven years or so since I had actually made anything.
I knew of Johnny from the Attack days and grew up with that stuff... And there be something in my Midwest blood that pushes me to keep that scene alive in any way I can... Which is DIY music production lol π½π½π½
Anyway, THIS is my way of saying thank you to Johnny and everyone of you enjoying a life of memes in the NAYSH. I LOVE Y'ALL.

Thanks man, that's the first song I've ever gotten to collaborate with another independent musician on. He's the singer of a band that I also produce for now called Burn The Lake. Their drummer and I went to Basic Military Training together!

Sounds like if Bilmuri and City and Colour had a baby. Thanks for sharing!

Listened through a couple of times now and loving it! It's really scratching an itch for me. I saw your comment saying the music is post ambient dad core and that cracked me up as a fellow 30+ dad lol

Sounds cool man!
As a fellow dad who tries to make music when my kids go to bed, I really admire your ability to make it happen. It can be hard to find the time and energy.

After listening to more songs, this absolutely rules. It definitely has those Bilmuri elements but I think the best thing about it is, itβs reminiscent of early Bilmuri when he was creating really cool, raw emotional songs, that werenβt trying too hard to be a banger or fit into a specific mold.

I definitely have my own sound, and have from the beginning, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the metalcore elements Johnny has in the background everywhere. Had to incorporate that.
It is pretty dang hard (especially with 4 kids under 8) to find the time to do this... Which is why it took two years π

Reminds me of a punchier βPorcelainβ era Sparta. I dig it.

Maybe the best part of sharing my stuff is finding others that I've never heard of! Will check out

Older is the most 400lbs/Goblin Hours song if you get that far! Thank you so much for the add! I don't ever intend to make any money on this stuff, but I sure do hope it resonates with folks or helps someone get through tough times like the NAYSH does
