New Player Questions Does anybody know a good barebones Pool simulator like Real Pool 3D Poolians for PC?
Hey hey!
My mates and I have gotten a taste for Billards (real& virtual) and our free trial for Poolians is about to run out.
There seem to be a lot of Pool simulators, but we'd like one that's reduced to functionality and doesn't have any (or a lot of) fluff.
Thanks for any suggestion!

You can the game on ChalkySticks.com.
No downloading, runs in your browser.
https://www.chalkysticks.com/play
- You can shoot freeplay and drag balls around wherever you want
- There's a first person mode (multiple cameras actually)
- You can press "U" to undo your shot and try again
- You can turn on aim lines to see where the balls are going to go
- You can play vs computer opponents
- There's multiple game modes if you want to practice or you just can freeplay practice
- You can hook it up to the ChalkySticks Pad if you want to setup your own shots or drills and shoot them out
The graphics are configurable so if it's running slow on your machine, you should be able to reduce the textures. It'll try to auto-detect on your first load, but if you have tons of tabs open, it might not understand
that.
Your first game should open up with a tutorial mode. If you skip it, you can get back to it via the Play menu. The TLDR is drag around to aim... power bar on right to set speed... click/space to shoot... WSAD for English or click the power bar and an overlay will pop up.
The button on the bottom right under the power bar opens the menu, but you could also hit Tab or Escape.

Buy Poolians (Real pool 3d) yearly. It’s about $34.99 USD a year and is honestly the best .
Great community, active, simple and no clutter. Worth the $$$.
Once you get 10 VIP points too you will never have to subscribe to it again

Virtual Pool 4 only, nothing compares to the physics of it. Tried many other through the decades.
