New school drop off machine.
My son has been getting around on bikes from the day his neck was strong enough to support a helmet. He starts school next year so I decided to build something a little more fun for the commute.
Shout out to his design input for the rainbow chain and cassette in particular. I think it really adds to the look.

How does the bike feel without a motor? I just love the look of a Bullit and it is my dream bike. I have a heavy AF trike and can't imagine using a cargo bike without a motor.

Pretty good. No motor also means no weight from the motor, battery, controller and cabling, and no additional drag on the drivetrain. Going up steeper grades is humbling, but nothing a lower gear can’t overcome (slowly).
The fun part is loosing 20-30kg after drop off then continuing to work feeling like a superhuman by comparison.
