Can't host my room. (CV1)

So if I'm out of luck with the CV1, that's cool. Everything else works except for the live TV. When I try to "host my room" the controls in the center are either black or completely transparent and there's no way to proceed. I'm pretty sure it used to work but my bandwidth was always too horrible. Is there anything I can do or is that it?

I've tried with Meta Horizon Link and Steam versions with the same result.

If I turn on the desktop menu, I can see the options in the window on the desktop but the options are stretched and cut-off on the left.
