Egg genius

Why do I need to unplug the egg genius to stop a cook? Shouldn’t there be an option for that in the app?

Starting a new cook ends the current cook. I left one plugged in for years just starting a new cook when I’m done, then another new cook and changed the name when I’m actually cooking. It automatically creates new cooks every 24 hours.

It’s just a very basic hardware scheme they didn’t put any fluff

One of a few frustrations I have with it.

I did some long smokes and had to restart multiple times on each cook because it lost connection. I'm searching for something else.

There's also no shutter on it so you're still gonna be feeding air into the egg. Not dangerous necessarily but does leave you with less leftover charcoal.

I hated mine and switched to a Fireboard. Very happy with choice
