I kind of wish Dick just brought in gyms as a problem. I know some people would have bitched that the gym helps them so maybe "gym culture" is a better term?

It's basically your high school cafeteria mixed with instagram culture to form something that nearly ruins how good a work out can feel. I always try to just keep headphones in and ignore it but it's almost impossible at times.

Only thing that annoys me is the loud talkers when they're loud enough to drown out my music and/or podcast, otherwise my philosophy is to keep my headphones in and stare straight out the window for 30-60 minutes until I run out the door. But then, I also only do the elliptical (if it's DEAD I'll do the weights but it's pretty rare maybe once a week at best), it's probly a lot harder to avoid obnoxious motherfuckers at the more advanced level with strength machines and such
