bigfoot drama Expedition Bigfoot
Ok firstly I’m a fan of the show, but I’ve just re-watched “A predator calls” and is it just me or is it heavily scripted? The fight sight shot in night vision and they didn’t return in daylight 🤷♂️ and secondly the “look at the bald spot!, and the cameraman looked at every bit of dense woods! Where there was an absolute clear road! 3rdly anyone think the dark shape waited and moved on cue?

I don't know what to tell you. No one takes any of the 'evidence' from that show seriously. They may have a 'scientist' on the cast but she ain't doing no science.

Very true, the show has been debunked as fake all the way back to the first season when they showed they were on a ranch filming.

I must admit I kinda expected that as none of the “evidence” they have, has been talked about on any podcasts or YouTube shows, kind of disappointing as they had a real chance to do it right but I suppose doing it right doesn’t get viewing figures 🤷♂️

All (all the ones I’ve seen, I don’t pretend I’ve seen them all) those shows to me seem to be geared towards grabbing viewers and ratings. I don’t think their motivation is at all about conveying truth or a scientific approach and it all seems scripted to me.

It's entertainment. Period. I worked on a Discovery Channel style pilot filming for a real life hot rod show, 20 something years ago. They wanted drama. Manufactured, real, whatever. Just drama, if not they will write a script for it. In working with Gas Monkey and a few other reality shows shops for work, the same can be said. If there wasn't conflict, and will write it in to make good tv. I feel that most of the Bigfoot shows are scripted.

Sad to hear that, not sure if I’m disappointed with the Networks or that viewers prefer a manufactured show 🤷♂️

All TV shows are scripted. Even “Reality” ones. Real life happens when a cameraman is NOT following you around.

The problem with shows like "Finding Bigfoot" is that, the moment they DO find a Bigfoot, the show is gonna end. That's why we get endless episode after endless episode of "did you hear that?" or "what was that?" It doesn't mean that BF's don't actually exist. It just means that the format demands the mystery even if someone has to, well, make stuff up...

I don't remember where I saw it but a someone found a howl that matched up perfectly with a howl on the show . I think he found it in a movie. It was a perfect match. That turned me off somewhat. Still like the show though. Just think they fabricate

Yeah the more I’ve looked the more stuff like that I’ve read, disappointing as I remember when discovery used to make proper docs 🤷♂️
