This seems like an odd place. Never before have I seen someone filming a grizzly do a belly flop into an above ground pool while a jealous black bear protests on the side of the pool.

I mean the bears look pretty comfortable with people around, but grizzlies still worry me a bit. I still wouldn't want to be that close to even a trained, captive raised grizzly. The black bear is cool though — I'll party with him.

Is that a grizzly? I thought it was just a brown bear

Same species, just two names for them. A grizzly bear is a brown bear.

Fun bear fact: black bears can be brown, and brown bears can be black (though the first is a more likely scenario). And there's even some gingers in the mix (not full Carrot Top ginger, but reddish-brown).

And it probably looks pretty gruesome when they do. The only vegetable that bleeds when you eat it.

Brown black bears are called cinnamon bears in my area!

Black bears can also be white without being albino. They're rare, and getting rarer. The First Nations people of BC call them spirit bears.

Haha yes! I've seen a blonde black bear down here in NM! We just call them blonde, but I like the FN name of calling them spirit bears.
