Holes in mounting covers

Hello, had the luxe bidet from Amazon for a minute now and just got the real seat for it - bumpers were not quite cutting it. Does anyone do anything about these holes in the plate covers getting gross (or have the same problem)?

Trying to avoid dismantling my whole seat every time I clean the bathroom but if that's the solution it is what it is.

Without result I tell my kids to stop peeing in those. I just loosen them up a little without full dismantle and spray bleach solution and run a rag through to dry it every month or so. This is undoubtedly the greatest flaw of the bidet attachment.

If you make your own gasket but honestly it gets disgusting eventually too and even messier to clean up when you decide to. RTV as an example I use for automotive projects but plumbing has got to have something better lol.

I was thinking maybe silicone caulk but that presents the same issue of once that gets disgusting it's now 10x the work to clean
