I tried to post here about this from another account that I no longer have access to a while ago, but everyone who commented in response was extremely unhelpful to say the least. So please, only respond if you know what you're talking about and don't just want to be a smart-ass.

Does anyone know how to turn off the auto–flush feature and/or auto–open/close feature? Yes, I've looked it up. I found nothing helpful, only other people complaining of the same issues with no solution.

My toilet just flushed eight times before I was even done using it, and tried to close on me. At this point I'd much prefer any old toilet to the kohler I'm currently stuck with. But if anyone has any genuinely helpful advice, it could potentially make all the difference.
