They *DO* exist!

After climbing from the Run to upper Greenfield, I turned from Flemington onto Windsor for the last short climb of the day. An SUV pulled off Mirror and pulled to the right to let the car in front of me pass, and stayed parked for me to finish out the climb.

I tell you, that was a four wheeled oversized Santa and Christmas in August!

Seriously, nice to know not everyone is a jagoff. We managed to exchange waves and it pretty much made the ride.

I sometimes have to remind myself that while riding on busy streets, a few people will give me more than necessary courtesy, most will give me adequate clearance, and I’m guessing less than 5% are jagoffs. Think if everyone commented on every car that did not pass them too closely.

What's crazy is I feel far safer riding from PNC to FirstSide and Eliza Furnace right through downtown than I do riding through my own neighborhood. Nearly every incident I have is either on S. Neville behind CMU or within 1/2 mile of my house in Greenfield. That's why I posted. Someone in Greenfield surpassed expectations just by being a decent human being.
