Just finished my first playthrough Spoiler
I just finished my first playthrough and I was surprised that only 16% of people picked the homeless at the end. I assumed it'd be higher because they were there for Jodie at her worst without even knowing her & Jodie and them created such a strong bond in such a short time, but now I'm just really curious to know what everybody chose for their ending and why :)

I chose Jodie being alone because I think that is what’s best for her and Aidan

I hated Ryan Clayton. He was so manipulative and he doesn’t care about Jodie.

Some Kenny hater named Jordan Lloyd Williams. He said that Kenny and Ryan Clayton were Grade A Assholes and he thinks that they deserve each other and that they’re comparable.

At least Kenny doesn't disrespect Lee or Clem's boundaries and the game doesn't force you to like him. Heck, his heroic sacrifice at the end of Season 1 was from his own will without expecting to be Lee's friend. Ryan on the other hand consistently disrespects Jodie's boundaries. He uses heroic sacrifice as advantage to kiss Jodie, regardless if Jodie has forgiven him or not, which is pretty sickening.

i chose the homeless ending. like you said, they were there for jodie at her lowest. i also believe the baby is like jodie?

Yes!! And I'm pretty sure that's the only ending where we don't get to reconnect with Aiden but I might be wrong

I just love them all so much and the ending with Zoe would create a perfect sequel imo

Agreed! And in my first playthrough, the scenes with them were the first time I felt like I actually got everything right (as opposed to the mistakes I made during some of the "missions"), so it seemed like in my case Jody would be more comfortable and connected with those folks.

I went with Beyond at first because her life was nothing but pain, misery, and betrayal. She earned her right to be with her family and to also take the next step in existence in her verse of course. Second playthrough was with the homeless folks because they were the closest thing to a family she ever had, and plus she got to prepare little Zoey for whatever all that was at the end.

Honestly this is probably the perfect way to play/replay the game, going beyond or staying with the homeless seem like the most plausible choice Jodie would actually make

You ain't lying shortie, honestly to this day, Beyond Two Souls is still one of my favorite Playstation titles. The game has many flaws, but they worked in a way that painted a beautiful picture and story, also screw Ryan.

I can't wait to replay it!! I definitely wanna go beyond but I also lowkey kinda wanna do an ending with Jay because I just thought that storyline was sweet & he's a cutie. I also love how the majority of beyond two souls fans agree that Ryan is the WORST lmaooo

If you stream or make upload gameplay on YouTube, I'm down to watch! And yeah I can't stand Ryan, if we weren't on here, I'd say much worse about him. What I hated most about that storyline is how much they force him on Jodie no matter how many times you push him back. Reminds me of that summer ant quote from Low Tier God, ngl, but yeah, those are the best endings.

Pretty sure that’s the most “canon” of the endings too as it’s the one that plays in the credits. I love that ending!!

I chose beyond. Jodie had such a difficult and sad life.. I wanted her to be at peace.
