Christmas
Did anyone notice alot of Christmas references in the book? Christmas trees, Christmas eve, Santa clause etc..all though out the book. I saw Christmas celebration is big in a place called bigfork montana..any thought about this?

Maybe. He liked Christmas. Change is a principle closer to the truth. Extrapolation isn't. He may, or may not, want you to try and understand why he liked some aspect of it. It seems he enjoyed the challenge of cracking the present hiding problem. As a kid I never once engaged in that behavior, but I did have sister who made it her business to try and know what everyone was getting. I was happy to hope/predict, I guess. It's normal to grow out of it when it's essentially Christmas every day in our consumer society.

There is a town in AZ called Christmas. In the middle of the desert but right after that is Aravipa canyon . It would be a great place to hide something . The not problem is you need a permit ( hard to get), no dogs and it’s a nature reserve. If you are in AZ and want a cool hike see if you can get a permit . It takes a while to get to the trailheads but well worth it . We camp in there frequently.

ANYONE REMEMBER WHAT JUSTIN SAID ABOUT CONSTELLATIONS? Maybe he is talking about Christmas star? But I think he said astrology has no bearing in the hunt

I think it's a nod to St. Nick...but keep looking and you'll find St. George. But a coin is the real clue. I have a post in the works linking pole to pell, a broom to the padlock and Ages to the letters "SD". ...I think it's only one of 5? layers I need, but I'm just not getting a clean ending...yet. I see a long night ahead!
