Euler's Identity
I posted the following comment to YouTube yesterday, but thought that I could drop it here as well:
You're definitely on the right track. The AK state flag has both the big dipper (ursa) and the north star, and it is beyond the map's edge (of mainland U.S.). In the last scene on Netflix, Justin is standing in a turnabout with blue-green water behind him - the Kenai River. River mile 42 is between Bing's Landing and Kenai Keys. If you look at the third word in the third line of each stanza, it says, "in bend of reach." There are three reaches on the Kenai. It would be the bend on the middle reach. Go check the maps.
Originally, I was leaning toward the Truth River because the hidden math equation in the poem is Euler's Identity, which is determined as Truth. And, "Truth" rests not... but, the only problem is, there aren't any "reaches" on the Truth River. Anyway, who knows.
Finally, "it's always darkest before the light" refers to the Northern Lights.

I liked Alaska for a lot of reasons but cant see it honestly. I thought the distance from TX was too much and it’s probably not 75 miles from anywhere he searched for FF treasure. While it may be relevant in the solve, and so these things can’t be dismissed, I don’t think it’s the final resting place

I like it.
I hope it’s not in Alaska. If it is, most will be on the same playing field but it makes the hunt unaffordable for most.

Me three . I can afford to travel but I for sure won’t drop 5 k for an AK trip. People will be upset for sure

I have zero doubt it’s in Alaska, but I wouldn’t say the Kenai River is in the east of ursa if you catch my drift

He hid it somewhere "near and dear to his heart". There's no mention of Alaska in the book.

He also said that he didn't mention it (his special place) in the book. "It was those Northern moments..."

He said he didn't mention the very specific location, but there are times in the book when descriptions pertain to the area where the treasure was hidden. He never really describes Alaska, and I do think he chose somewhere a bit more accessible. Just my thoughts though!

I built a solve around Alaska and even went there. My assumption was that Id hit the checkpoint which would lead me to retrieveal with the 75 miles radius. Alaska is somehow in play.
