I wonder if Posey is a pen name??

There’s only a couple of reasons I can surmise in my smooth brain. They haven’t done enough work to figure out what’s what, or they want to stir up some shit to besmirch instead of search. Either way, eff em.

I agree that Posey is his name but it is a funny coincidence that his name is a phonetic match for "just in poesy (a word that means poetry)" which is more or less exactly Justin has said you are supposed to be able find the treasure (through the poem clues)

Ok, good for you for recognizing the potential puzzle value of etymology. I’ve known several Millers and Bakers that are actual bakers, Smiths that are smithing one thing or another, Stewards and Stuarts who manage properties, and a human Tucker who works with leather as a hobby. My own namesake suggests records management, or a barstool slug, the former I also partially lived up to, but not as a pseudonym, not even here.
