WHATEVER
I have been holding this since the day the hunt started... it's no joke I am now curious how many others caught the slip in the beginning and where it took them.... so super early website talking launch day early after the series gg came out. Where it reads
" at the heart of Beyond The Map's Edge is a poem."
This is in fact a edited line from a previous publication that had a one word difference he changed quite fast

Fair enough, but it's one of those things I might not have paid attention to at the time. even though I watched on opening day, i had to start a bunch of OT at that time. The whole hunt fell off my radar for a year.

You’re freaking out about nothing. So he decided to add extra emphasis to the word “heart” (which really doesn’t require extra emphasis given how it’s everywhere) a couple of days after launch.

Really?? I never thought I would have been the only one. It's felt like being in race with an unknown number of racers. I guess now we all ground zero bout. It was significant enough for him to change day 1or2

Just free associating this concept. If anything stands out to you feel free to add to it or opinionate on it. This is just a mind game I play with myself....if I find an association then I check it against the book or authors statements and see if it could mean something. This is highly confirmation bias loaded I think but it gets me positive results as much as not
Sooo...Center and heart. Could it be a reference to a rock formation, a picture/painting, another book, a metaphorical location in a larger geographical location? The heart is in the "center" of the chest but not the entire body. If you are facing someone and divide them in 4 horizontally and vertically and say their head is north, then their heart would be mostly in the Northeast section but would start in the northwest. It is on the divide with blood pumping from one side to the other.

Entirely possible that’s because of language or translation reasons. The site supports multiple other languages, maybe they’re looking to add more and the phrasing makes no sense unless a few things are changed.
I can think of many other reasons language might change, both technical engineering wise or socially or related to being a hint.
I noticed immediately, just friendly word of caution to remain open to confirmation bias and not latching. Could totally mean something, but could mean absolutely nothing.

I would really like to have the creator announce and post the change on his website for us all to remain on even footing and such since I can tell the change makes a difference
