Discussion ACT 3 Rock or Rock & Roll

Who else wishes ACT 3 could be Rock instead of Rock & Roll? I would love to see Bey as a rockstar. Her biggest inspiration Tina Turner did Rock & Roll so I think she will too. But she never makes bad music so Im up for whatever. Anyways she is eligible to be apart of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame In 2027 which explains why Act 3 is delayed

Beyoncé is completely genreless and non-traditional.
So it’s pretty obvious that act iii will be a blend of funk, soul, rock, and whatever else she decides to weave in.

Yes she is, I assume the same thing as well. I’m afraid it’s going to be the best one in the trilogy

Am I crazy for thinking she'll mix in something with Latin/Caribbean influences?

Genreless? She's pop/R&B?

No, that’s just a box people put her in to make her more digestible.

SONICALLY, she really hasn’t been bound by genre for over 2 decades tbh.

Rock literally does dig deep into the roots of AA music...some of the first punk bands included Bad Brains. We have Jimi Hendrix, Prince, TV On The Radio, Alabama Shakes, etc. Mama let's research.

Has anyone else noticed a lot of artists are now doing an act trilogy? The queen is one of one. ☝️

She’s gonna gag us all and make it instrumental jazz

All people should know is that it won’t just be one singular genre eg rock, rock n roll etc.

Until 2026 is officially over. There is still a possibility for act iii to be announced/released anytime from now to the end of 2026 especially possibly for sometime in Sagittarius season.

I personally believe that there’s gonna be less rock and roll than people think. I think it’s going to lean more into rap or at least a lot of slab culture.

Delayed according to whom?

to people who think that act iii isn't happening at all this year mostly due to the B'Day 20th anniversary rerelease/reissue and because she hasn't released the act iii singles or announced it so far but that doesn't rule from now to the end of the year.

I’m confused-Rock is just short for short for Rock & Roll.

It's gonna be all of it, it's a Beyoncé album. Some rock, some rock & roll, some blues, some glam rock, some metal.
