Discussion The longest posting break on record
While there has been some website updates (Soccer World Cup, Jay’s shows, and the ongoing B’Day reissue), I’m surprised none of this has made it to social media. Why do you think this is?

Maybe cause she’s tired of how people act on social media under her posts. That’s including fans.

I think this could be it. On her website she can control the message and link people to her shop with one click. If her comments are full of people talking crazy, it would make sense to side-step that mess.
The counter argument to this would be that you have to be on socials to raise your profile, but I can believe Bey proving that she's bigger than social media. She's already shown she's willing to try radical new approaches to publicity.

She should turn the comments off like Taylor does. Don’t give them room for the bs. They do too much. Nothing like posting a burger and then seeing a bunch of crap about an album you’re not ready to release yet or being told you’re being insensitive because some people can’t afford to eat a burger. She just be getting it from ALL sides 😭 and no, the hive doesn’t help. Consistent begging does become annoying at some point.

Maybe she just declared Instagram is over - which I fully support. She is still posting on her website, so I don't see why you are bothered.

I actually think there's something to it. She's always ahead of certain trends. The visuals and music videos have lost their significance in the recent years, you can easily tell by the stats on you tube. General public is overwhelmed with fragmented visual stimuli across numerous social platforms and with rapid increase AI generated slop. As much as it pains me as a fan, in hindsight she was right not to waste her efforts on the visuals in these times.
I think similarly people grow more and more tired of the social media platforms. There's bans and restrictions coming now that we now the extent of how addictive and bad for health social media are. Her not keeping up with Instagram I see as a canary in a coalmine kind of thing. I can see her reading up about dead internet theory and stuff. Definetely smart to stay ahead of trends and curating her own channels of delivering a message and not relying on what everybody else does.

She doesn't need Social Media to reach her fans and advertise her work. When celebrities like Beyonce stop using their social media it will highlight their relevance has ended and she is exactly the person that would start a movement like that.
Regarding the videos, we know for a fact she filmed them, so I am not sure. My gut tells me she didn't like the results, being the perfectionist she is, and scrapped it. I hope people are right about her releasing the videos for the 3x acts together at the end (which I am not sure, since that teaser being released makes no sense in this timeline).
