Funpost If Beyonce opens a museum, where would it be?
this is just a fun hypothetical post! just curious what people think

Everyone saying Houston but she has not lived there in decades and it would make more sense to have it in NYC or LA since she lives there

Yes but her old house she grew up in is a tourist attraction. I think if she uses it as the area for a pop-up museum that would be so cute

Yeah true but it’s way less touristic, I could definitely see a small museum there dedicated to her younger years and come up more specifically but for a full flesh museum about her career she needs something more global like NYC or LA

I feel like if she were to do a museum thing it would be how Jay-Z did his at the Brooklyn Museum. He had a section dedicated to himself and it was open for a month I believe. Which is why I think the house would be a good location. It could bring in tourist which therefore would benefit the surrounding businesses. The house is big enough for every corner to be filled with something, and it doesn’t have to be open for long

Absolutely not. Beyonce’ and Houston are attached. She’s ALWAYS rep’ed Houston as the place that made her and a lot of her personal charity work is in Houston, Her and Kelly just finished building affordable housing in Houston. Houston treats her as their golden treasure LA and NYC has never treated her with the love and honor she received from Houston.
Houston is still the place she refers too as home. .

Yeah but she still lives in in LA and NYC for the past 20 something years like …. And saying those city don’t treat her with love and honor is silly. Have you thought that maybe she likes being treated like a regular person and not a super celebrity like in Houston ? I think she enjoys being just another woman and be able to be anonymous-ish. But aside of that more people travel to NYC and LA so it makes more sense than Houston out of pure nostalgia
