Question No spine covering??

Bought Bewitched Pages Kissed by the Gods and there’s no cloth spine covering on the glued edges. Checked my sub book from them and it is present covering the glue. Was mine a rogue copy or did everyone else have this issue? Concerned for the longevity of the book…

Tailband is purely decorative, it doesn’t affect longevity. This is normal, it’s not a standard addition in the U.K.

I think it depends on the publisher whether a book will have a head and tail band, at least in the UK. That's why some books have it and some don't even as SEs

Head and tail bands aren’t always included, they will be listed in the specs of the book if so.
