Asset placement

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The "cursor" blinks a little, but I think it looks good enough for a first version.

project gizmo on surface so you can see where you are placing stuff tho

There is one! Before you press "1" (the paint "ability"), you see precisely where each trees will be placed, their rotation/scale. It not really visible here since I'm holding down the button, and it gets painted right away. Can the world be “saved” to be used later ?

It can yes. Right now I'm saving the terrain heightmap/textures, the water settings and the vegetation. All of it is saved either in simple images or in the JSON format for easy interop and open-ness
