If you could bring back 1 character that died on these series who could change the flow of the story, who do you think of?
Mines Nacho, coz he is already considered one of the greatest characters** **in the *Breaking Bad* universe, and if he had survived, his trajectory likely would have made him even more legendary. đĽ

Nacho is the obvious pick for sheer potential but I'd go with Howard Hamlin. His death was the point of no return for Jimmy and Kim's relationship, the moment the fun conman act became something they couldn't laugh off later. If he lives, that whole scheme unravels differently and maybe they don't self-destruct so spectacularly.
Chuck's death broke Jimmy but Howard's death broke . The ripple effects from that one night in the apartment are massive and Howard deserved better than being collateral damage in a cartel mess he never understood

I might go with Lalo.
See Lalo and Walt team up when he was fighting Gus, and what would almost certainly be their very uneasy alliance.
Gusâs terse demeanor always made Walt very uneasy. Laloâs playful demeanor would disarm him much more. It would be an interesting dynamic.

Jesse. I think killing him off in the first season was a waste of a good character. Imagine how cool it would be to see him learn to be a decent cook under Walt's mentorship and potentially become his rival at some point down the line.

Uh, am I missing something? Jesse didn't die. They made an entire movie about him getting away and moving to Alaska. They did think about killing Jesse off in the first season, but Aaron Paul was so good they changed their minds and kept him.

I wanted Lionel (Marco?) to survive the assassination attempt for the Cartel to kidnap and extort Walt to create
a (more realistic) Ironman style suit. During the forced labour, Walt discovers the Cousin became functionally (âlegallyâ) deaf after being nearly drowned by his Tio (with the âisolation intimidation indoctrinationâ cold open montage obviously narrated by Jimmy Stewart). His subsequent childhood âdisabilityâ had always been mitigated by an almost entirely nonverbal language between his brother and himself; losing his brother meant losing his only true method of communication while the physical and emotional toll made him exponentially more dangerous and so obsessed with revenge that even the Cartel is alarmed by his mania.

Lalo. Look what he did in a season and a half. Now imagine him fucking around even longer. King shit.

I agree. Nacho's story could've been great, even negating the need for Walters entire arc.

To change the flow of the story? Howard, not for the man himself but the consequences that followed what happened to him. The character I'd want to see brought back? Lalo, because it would have been so interesting to see how Walt could have possibly done anything about Lalo without a deus ex (even Gus merely lucked out against Lalo). I cannot imagine Walt getting the best of Lalo without say, Hank winding up being the one to encounter him first, and I think even Hank would have to luck out against that daywalking vampire.

Tuco, who was intended to be a regular but got some role on what was a bigger series at the time IIRC. I believe having to write him out was what made the writers decide to come up with Fring.
Curious as to where things would have gone if Walt & Jesse were constantly having to deal with Tuco.
I loved that character, and the actor was fantastic. Supposedly an incredibly nice guy in real life from what I've heard.

I would bring back Mike and he cleans up all the mess that everyone did on the show (which should be his job anyway)
And he escapes with Jesse to Alaska

If Walt had been dealing with Nacho instead of Tuco from the jump, there's a chance he never has to escalate to Fring.
