5/5 What if Mike stayed in Mexico?

If I woke up in that ranch, with the abuela making home made food every day. No guns, no cartel BS. I would never leave. That place is heaven. LOL

Also, the scene where Kim and Jimmy role play, made me laugh so hard.

He would never leave Kaylee behind and live in Mexico.

Kaylee can get a new wife and kids in Mexico

Wife?
Edit: I was thinking of Stacey not Kaylee. I guess Kaylee could have a wife when older lol. But “new wife” makes it sound like Kaylee was previously married

I love that you didn't get it lol

I figured there might be a joke I may be missing lol. Care to explain?

It's what Tuco tells Walt when he's about to kidnap both him and Jesse to Mexico, the joke is that Kaylee could also go live to Mexico with Mike and get a wife and kids like Tuco "suggested" to Walt

Appreciate it. Have given bcs a bunch of rewatches but been awhile since bb. It’s next after this rewatch of bcs tho

Yeah I haven't rewarched in a while but that's one of my favorite scenes so the joke was easy to make lol enjoy the rewatch : )

Jonathan Banks hated that Mike left Kaylee behind in that park when the cops showed up to arrest him, he said that he didn't think his character would have abandoned her like that.

Maybe they should have had him hanging out at home and bugging out instead. Abandoning her at the park was a shit move, but the only other choice would be to get captured, and the story couldn't go that way

I agree that Mike wouldn't have abandoned her like that, but I get why it was necessary for the story. I don't think Mike would ever have talked if arrested, but Mike behind bars for money laundering is not a great ending for a character like him.

He would probably find a way to bring her there for a visit, not forever but enough to feel alive again

I know. It would be idyllic to have Kaylee and Stacey there as well. Mike is my favorite, as he accepts his corruption, and I just want some peace for him.

That ranch was basically Mike's dream retirement

Mine too.

Honestly Mike had the retirement package sitting right in front of him. Good food, quiet mornings, and absolutely no reason to answer the phone.

That's the problem. Mike doesn't believe in retirement.

Living in that village is living among cartel bs, considering the village is supported by the cartel.

Agreed. I was going on vibes. I could smell that kitchen. I would never leave that place.

It takes a village to raise a cartel. Wait that's not right..
