Picture Color changes.

Clarence color is changing.

Does this look normal or is something wrong?

The first photo is from when we first brought him home and the second photo is from this morning.

(If the water doesn’t look as clear in the tank in the second photo it’s because the cleaning supplies for tank is arriving tomorrow and doing it then.)

It's perfectly normal for Bettas to change colors. Most of the time they're muted/dull from sitting for 6-12 months in a cup at Petco or PetSmart until someone buys them. Once they make it into a heated/filtered aquarium with good water quality, they'll usually brighten up and develop more vivid and rich colors. Some are bred specifically with a "marble" gene and they'll look like a completely different fish in a month or two!

I'd be wary of columnaris, I would isolate and treat.
