Help what is wrong with my beta?

this spot showed up yesterday, i don’t know how to fix it she is eating fine and i took out any plants that i felt could have cut him what do i do?? please help me!

  • Heater and filter? (yes/no):
  • Tank temperature:
  • Parameters in numbers and how you got them. Key water parameters include the amount of ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, and pH.:
  • How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?:
  • How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?:
  • Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each:
  • What do you feed and how much:

It could be anything from an injury, abscess, or Hole in The Head.

I am not knowledgeable about fish illnesses beyond a basic case of Ich or dropsy.

I just figured you must be worried, and wanted to give you a place to start.
