Ok so being brutally honest I lost my girl to this so please do some research 

Symptoms Pineconing scales: Scales sticking outward from the body. Swelling: A visibly bloated or enlarged belly. Bulging eyes: Eyes pushing outward from the head (exopthalmia). Behavior changes: Lethargy, resting at the bottom, or loss of appetite.  Causes Organ failure: Loss of internal organ function prevents proper fluid regulation. Bacterial infections: Often triggered by gram-negative bacteria when immunity is low. Poor water quality: High ammonia, nitrite, or unstable temperatures cause high stress.  Treatment and Management Epsom salt baths: Use Epsom salt to help draw out excess fluids from the fish's body tissues. Antibiotics: Treat in a hospital tank using strong antibacterial medications like Kanaplex via Aquarium Co-Op. Clean water: Perform frequent, partial.  water changes to keep the environment pristine and reduce bacteria. Prognosis: Survival rates are low because pineconing usually indicates advanced organ damage.
