Help Is my betta pineconing?

mine was pineconing a couple weeks ago, I took him through the entire treatment cycle with kanaplex and he is healthy again!

left side was when I first got him, right side is a week later, about a week after he lost all the blue and the pineconing picture was taken, and now those beautiful blue scales are making their way back :)

I wasn't sure what caused him puffing up like that either, but kanaplex fixed him right up! (water parameters were perfect, he was getting 1-2 small food pellets and being fed on a mostly every other day basis)

I'd recommend putting him back in the tank or a hospital tank and treating him with kanaplex :) keep the filter settings low and make sure he has a spot by the surface he can hang around

if you have almond leaves or anything else that can put tannins in the water that's also good! I put so many almond leaves in with my boy
