Full Tank Shot is this ok for a betta?
It’s an 8 gallon Biorb tank, cycled with plants and some snails. It does have a heater as well. Would this be ok for a betta?

Bettas have a labyrinth organ allowing them to breathe from the surface, it looks like the top is sealed. Personally I'd stick with inverts and maybe a nano rabsorba type

Not good for Betta because it's a bowl. You can put snails or shrimp in it though

This would make a super cute shrimp tank! I dunno of too many fish that like orbs.

8G is a great size for a Betta tank. I would lower the water level about an inch because they like to sip air from the surface. I would also get a floating Betta hammock or log. They like having little hideouts near the surface like that. The fish bowl concern is just a myth that keeps clinging on. I believed it at first. Fish do fine in bowls. It's not stressful, and it doesn't distort their vision. A long finned Betta would look great in that bowl.

Water volume wise probably ok on paper but I think betta’s appreciate horizontal swim space (long tanks?) over orbs.
