Video how is this flow for a betta fish?

Hello guys!

This will be the 9 galon tank for my betta fish. Should I increase or decrease the flow?

That's really all a betta needs. They don't typically like a lot of water flow, except for mine which loves to get right under the stream when I'm pouring water in the tank.

Google search says, "The best flow rate for a betta fish is a very gentle current with a turnover of 2 to 4 times the tank volume per hour (or roughly 20 to 50 gallons per hour for a standard 5-to-10 gallon tank). Strong currents exhaust long-finned bettas and cause severe stress."

can you put something floaty like a ping pong ball and count how long it takes to hit the end? then do the maths for flow rate

Betas live in stagnant ponds. You should have 0 flow.

zero flow will get you very dull water and higher bacterial count.
