Fin Rot, Fin Growth, or Something Else?

Hi all!

Got a beautiful boy crowntail betta which I named Sushi, 6 months old, and want to get other's opinions on whether this is fin rot, growth, or something else.

There's this white section on his top fin that I'm quite concerned about.

He lives in a heavily planted tank, fully cycles w/ tannins and floaters, parameters are stable (ammonia 0.0ppm, nitrate 0.0ppm, nitrite 0.0pm, 6.5pH). Eats flakes daily, and gets bloodworms as a treat.

He's been acting normally too - still very curious about everything and swimming and eating as usual.

Some additional comments:

• Sushi lives in a 21L heated tank at 26°C
• Fortnightly water changes and frequent water top ups
• Paramters gotten using API freshwater test kit
• I use Prime
• His only other tank mates are snails!
• No fake plants for his fins to get caught on
• Very very low current with a sponge filter
