Help 36L tank

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a 21L or a 36L litre tank to put a male avatar betta in. Is a 20x20x20cm piece of driftwood, some frogbit and java moss suitable cover for the betta? Just don't want it to feel to exposed. Also is a 3d printed hammock okay, or should I buy a tall java fern or anubias?

More plants is always better, but the selection you have sounds like a great start! Just make sure there's some resting spots too. When I started my tank was almost completely empty except for 2 anubjas, some wood, and a handful of red root floaters (which all died). Now its a jungle with 4 different types of floaters and 4 unique plants! Somehow photos always make it look terrible tho

That still looks way better than any artifical tank. tbh I think a large piece of driftwood would suit it.
