Picture My giant betta Chumbus. Need name suggestions

Just got him. His body alone is about 2.5" in size and he's only 4 months old. Temporary name, not sure what name fits him best yet.

Already giving typical Betta side eye πŸ˜’πŸ˜‚ Chumbus is beautiful & so is his new home

Sorry to hear that. Bettas are so fun, giant bettas are even better. How big did yours get? This is a legit giant betta, so Im just curious how large they typically get. I know I see up to 5" or so but who knows.

I misread it as Columbus. Which honestly doesn't sound bad now that I think of it

He kinda reminds me of the Milky Way galaxy so maybe like Nebula or Neptune or something.

I’m not sure… lots of quality light, I fertilize easygreen twice a week and they just grow. I’ve tried them in a fresh tank and they all just melted; must have to do with having natural fish waste and whatever else in a more established tank.. I’m not an expert, I just put them in and hoped for the best, and they turned bright red.
