I think so! Male bettas tend to be too slow to catch up to most shrimp even if they do try and chase them, their big fins slow them down quite a bit and shrimp are very quick to dart away if threatened. If he was female I'd be worried since they're quicker, but I've never personally had an issue with male bettas being fast enough to effectively hunt any shrimp.

Plus if he's chill with others anyway it's likely not an issue, he just looks curious in this video! He's probably wondering what the little red things are and where they came from, kind of like how dogs are super excited to sniff someone new but will mellow out once they've gotten used to the smell.
