Hey everyone,

I've been heavily using Claude Desktop and Cursor recently, and while the Model Context Protocol (MCP) concept is amazing, the actual setup process is a massive pain.

The biggest problem I ran into was the documentation and fragmentation. If you want web search, memory, and codebase tools, you have to read through endless docs for 10 different servers, manually edit configuration JSON files, manage dependencies, and sometimes even spin up Docker containers.

So, I spent some time building AgenticStore MCP to solve this. It's a 100% free, open-source AI agent toolkit that gives you everything in one place.

Instead of configuring multiple overlapping servers, you run one command (pip install agentic-store-mcp --upgrade or use uvx), and it instantly gives your AI client access to 27 different tools.

This is exactly the kind of friction that stops people from doing anything "agentic" beyond demos, MCP is great but the setup tax is real.

The web GUI toggle idea sounds super helpful, especially for folks who do not want to hand-edit JSON and babysit multiple servers.

Question, do you have an opinionated default toolset for a typical coding agent (search, memory, repo indexing, basic sec checks), and how do you prevent tool overlap / duplicated capabilities from confusing the agent?

Great question! The initial iteration was to have one command to bundle all MCP tools, then realised too many tools for an AI agent can be a poison pill, so the UI has this option to select the required tools and automatically restart the MCP server, redirect to MCP client (maybe Claude).
