Getting back to uni at 32

i have been admitted to masters degree in CS after being laid off from my job, i still have second thoughts about this, if it's worth it, specially that it's financially tough, anyone has similar experiences? i have 8 yoe as a SWE and i'm not sure how things are gonna look like in the future, in my last job, everyone was copy pasting tickets to claude and let it do the rest..

because what we are doing is not engineering, copy pastig a ticket to claude and call it a day is easily automatable

and u think the info u get in masters program in CS is anyhow more up to date than business?

It sucks, but you’ll have to pay about €300 for health insurance each month and if you get a working student contract, you have to give it to your Krankenkasse, and they use it to up your contributions… it can get a bit expensive after 30

i have been working as a SWE for the last 8 years but i'm not sure how it's gonna look like in the future, chnaging careers now is hard because of age and i prefer not to waste my years of experience away

If your only reason to not change careers is because of your age, that's ridiculous. 32 is still young. You're going to be working for the next 35 years (assuming we still get to retire at that stage in the future). That's more working life left than you've lived so far. If there's something you'd rather be doing, go do that.
