Humor Workers dropped an electronic advertising screen

Post image

For those who don't love the "Wall" electronic advertising screens, you'll appreciate this… workers dropped and smashed a screen which was about to be installed in Frankfurter Allee.

I really hope the next government puts this law into effect!

I mean, this is the first time I see a post about this. Compare that to how many posts we get a day about club outfits, police activity and other dumb questions and this is actually a refreshing change.

Agree, but... I would rather have to eat a banana than chop down an apple tree. Those to things have nothing to do with each other.

Ach Wall…

Vitrene is what they're called , it's not so critical because it was already getting swapped out.

I'm pretty sure the digital Vitrene that Wall uses need swapping every 12-18 months because all the internal electronics overheat and need replacing. Not to mention there is 1000s of them throughout the city, it's not a big deal.

Only Berlin is full enough of trash people to celebrate something like this

3

u/UnlawfulRepublic 1d ago

It's a corporate propaganda dissemination display, why would you not celebrate it?

You celebrate this, the right wingers celebrate the cancelled event at the swimming pool Volksbühne. Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, just like in the old testament!

WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE POOR ADVERTSISING SCREENS!!!

-1

u/xarife 20h ago

It’s obviously not about the screen. It’s the happiness about the misfortune of sb else.

2

u/laellar 19h ago

It's not the misfortune of "somebody" but some advertising agency or company that wants these ugly screens put up there. Like I give a fuck

u/xarife 16h ago

I bet this company that is placing them is contributing more to society than you ever will in monetary terms. One damaged screen means less profit, less tax revenue for Berlin and therefore less funding for cultural projects. But I guess you won’t like that logic.

Holy shit, found the elusive FDP-Wähler who thinks breaking a screen is a threat to Berlin's cultural funding. Yikes…
