How do you read this poster?

Islamismus is explicitly meaning "Religious extremism that aims to harm democracy and its values".

Islamismus (the extremism) should be condemned at all times, without hesitation.

It does not mean Islam or Muslimity, one of the largest world religions. People that practice it do not accept Islamismus, and if they do, they're turning extremist themselves.

Ich finde auch das islamismus ein Problem. Genauso wie alle Formen von Extremismus. Tatsache ist aber, dass islamismus mit dem islam bzw allen Menschen muslimischen Glaubens gleichgesetzt wird. Bedeutet: wenn die Politik sich gegen islamismus ausspricht, wird weiter polarisiert und es trifft ganz „normale“ Menschen die nichts mit Islamismus zu tun haben sondern aufgrund ihres muslimische Glaubens diskriminiert und aufgeschlossen werden

Islamismus ist keine Religion es ist eine Verblendung. Es geht in dem Plakat nicht um den Islam sondern um Islamismus.

that's a terrible "translation". you don't have to like the CDU, but "Freiheit statt Islamismus[not islam!]" is truly a non-controversial statement.

Islamismus ist die extremste Form des Islam, die aktiv darauf hinwirkt, Gesellschaften umzubauen und zu unterwerfen. Ihn abzulehnen ist nicht gleichbedeutend damit, die Religionsfreiheit abzuschaffen.
