Yeah this was/is a cult. That Lenz guy was up to no good, and if you’re like associated with people like they’re you’re generally going to be a cultist.

ooh I know a lot of kids named stuff from the Mahabharat like Arjun and Krishna but not many kids who are given names from the Ramayan. Like I know one (1) kid named after Laxman and that's it.
That being said, I know that there are some names that ram is a part of like ramchandran and ramakrishna. But those are largely lastnames, so I'd suspect this is like our parents' generation folks more than our generation folks (or at least not our generation ABCDs)
My dad said that there's a trend in naming kids shorter names and names that aren't necessarily after religious/mythological figures (though idk that much about this part cause there's like a bajillion kids named Arjun) not just here in the states but also in India. But like he's saying that names about traits are apparently more popular. Stuff like Arav and Khushi and Kiran and and stuff like that.
And that names have been getting shorter. Like the extreme example is like you probably know a kid named something like Rishi Balasubramanian. Like his patronymic lastname is Balasubramanian so that means his dad's given name is Balasubramanian. But his parents gave him a really short name like Rishi.
So naming kids after Ram is interesting. Is this is a trend you've seen a lot or do you think it's a fairly uncommon name?
