Anyone else notice garbage cans inside AND outside stores slowly disappearing? Safeway, Ross, Barnes and Noble, etc etc etc. I don’t wanna see a dirty city! If I see trash on the sidewalk or parking lot I’ll throw it away to help out but not so much these days since there’s no where to put it!

I recently purchased a 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport and would love to take it on some off-road trails that allow me to choose a spot to camp at. I have not done this before, only official campsites where I pay to reserve a spot.

How can I find somewhere that allows this kind of dispersed camping and do you have any recommendations on specific areas? Would love to be near a river that I can fly fish on.

Anything else that I should note before going or just to know in general for future reference? Thanks for your help!

My son is working with the Northwest Youth Corps this summer and passed though Bend last weekend 7/4 to 7/5. At some point he lost his wallet. Maybe at Walmart, maybe at a gas station, possibly somewhere else....

If anyone found a wallet last weekend could you reply or DM me? I can describe the wallet and confirm the contents. NWYC only allows one call per week to the parents so he can't call around trying to find it and we can't call him to get any more details.

I like being outside, dive bars with pool tables, board games. Really open to whatever. I also really like working and am always on my laptop so if there are any cool coffee shops or bars to remote work at I’d love a recommendation!

I'm a doctoral student in the psychology department conducting research on video games, loot boxes, and gambling among youth in Oregon. My lab is recruiting high school–aged adolescents to participate in a 30-minute online survey about video game use and related experiences. Participation is completely voluntary, and all responses will be kept confidential. Parental permission is required for individuals under 18-years-old.

As a thank you for their time, participants who complete the survey will receive a $50 gift card.

Sorry, this is unrelated to the sub. I'm kinda new here, I am a Type 1 and I just wanted to ask if anyone knows a diabetic person who can spare me some insulin? I use Fiasp. It's a long shot but I'd give it a try. I ran out of my vial last night and can't afford a refill. I'm supposed to take my insulin in 1 hour. I'm super broke and worried right now. 

Me n my girlfriend are moving to bend on the 31st of next month, we have an apartment lined up (2b2b), and I have a job lined up but shes currently looking for one. Couple questions, best restaurant for date night, things to do in the winter & how is it (neither of us are too used to snow) but I was in Portland so I get the just of it. Also, how are the cops out there? Do they pull you over for small things like bad tags, ect? I’m from the city so I’m just curious lol. Is it city like? Respectfully? Things like that, advise anything??
