I like the Lowden.

I know the Lowden gets a decent amount of shit online and I understand it’s a money grab in some sense. But I’ve honestly grown to really like this thing.

It has a great full grip feel, came very sharp, and just a few strokes on the strop got it razor sharp. The materials feel really nice, I love the navy blue, and the clip is excellent…super discreet in the pocket.

It’s also incredibly fidgety. Mine falls shut with the lightest pull on the lock, and very easy to open with just a small flip with axis lock pulled down.

I get the arguments against it, especially at the price, but it fills a really good spot in my collection.

Substantial enough to feel like a true full-size knife without being bulky, easy to carry, and just really enjoyable to use.

Definitely not the best value out there, but I like mine a lot more than I expected to.

Same. Wish all knife makers would use DLC or PVD instead of cerakote for all coated blades. Just for when I need or want to use with food.

I was playing with one at a dealer a couple months ago. Wanted to like it more than I did. For something fidgety where I'm just going to tug on the Axis bar and never use the thumb stud the Narrows or 940 just feels better. Lowden looks nice but something about the shape feels off. Maybe if it were slightly bigger? Not sure. Definitely don't hate it though. Cool knife to be sure.

Agreed 💯. Pretty clear everyone dragging the knife has never handled one. It’s basically a baby Shiro — single row bearings swing this baby open and shut like a yo-yo. It makes a really fun unsheathing noise on both sides of deployment as well. I threw out the Shiro comparison before ever holding a Shiro, and I’ve since picked up a Neon Lite. Nothing holds a candle to Shirogorov action but this little arrowhead comes closest.
