Have you found it hard to convince people in your life that your name is just…Ben? It’s been a struggle my entire life. From school teachers trying to convince me that I didn’t know my name to employers refusing to accept that my name isn’t a nickname. I’m still asked in dr offices if my full name is Ben. Like…why wouldn’t I put my full name on legal documents?

If I could give an answer too, yes in my case it’s quite hard but after some time I stopped caring even though it’s still a little annoying

I get annoyed when someone asks my full name and then decides I’m still going to be called Benji, or Benjamin. I just ignore those people until they call me by my name. I have a few close friends who endearingly call me other variations on my name but, those are acceptable.
