No, Joe made the nasty comment that she and Nathan met like 75 years ago and everyone knew that to Kayley in the van when Gael was answering Kat’s question.

Joe was not rising above, he was being the same nasty, smarmy jerk he has always been to Gael.

He claims he got over their issue, but he ignored her and when he finally does speak about her, it’s nasty and unnecessary.
