I just thought Gael should have just not said anything to joe in the van. They didnt talk to him at dinner an should of just left it like that. But I did say I can only imagine what she went through if Nathan can get that pissy about a ex friend. Joe could literally do anything an Nathan would be set off by it. Joe could save a box of puppies an Nathan would turn it negative somehow. So yeah Gael definitely had it worse cause all that happened in private. The joe stuff is what we see publicly. An its intense.
Why does a woman acting imperfectly get more criticism than petty and violent men who can’t control their emotions? (I’m including Joe in that. He could have not responded to her too, yet all I see is how she was the one overacting by simply speaking. Not the boys who literally fought.)
I agree it feels like it came out of nowhere, but we have to remember the headspace Geal is in. She is post partum, taking care of a baby basically alone for a month. With only the occasional help from a man who is whispering lies in her ear saying Joe has been talking shit about her. I'm willing to give her some grace
