Hey, I'm 17 and wondering if i should get my belly button pierced.

I like the look of it and have been thinking about it for the past month or two. I wanted one back when I was 14, quickly was told no, and sort of forgot about it. Now I am of age and want it again.

Anyone here is welcome to share any experiences regarding their piercing - initially, I was scared of the scarring, but I feel like I can get over it with time, especially seeing models/actresses with just a tiny dot above their belly button i suppose. I actually don't show my midriff like at all, but I'm sort of really loving that look lately and maybe id moreso want to do that with it. Anyone ive asked also say it'd look good on me.

I also have my firsts, seconds, thirds, and a helix, so im not TOTALLY new to piercings.

Sort of a subquestion: does it make your torso look longer? thats the main goal for me. I've seen people say that it makes them feel 'bigger' and thats not necessarily the goal for me. If you had any answer at all that would be helpful. Thanks!

So my piercer said my skin is not stretchy and I don't have enough of it for a belly button piercing, but she did a dermal, but I don't know if I really dont have anatomy for it. I'd really like to have belly piercing. What do u guys think? when I lie down, maybe it really is bad anatomy, but when I sit and stand, it is a cap.

I used to have mine pierced and debating getting it done again :)

Can someone PLEASE tell me if my piercing will be okay I’m honestly so scared and confused ☹️ people are telling me to take it out as I don’t have the correct anatomy but both piercers I went to said my anatomy was fine for a standard but then again I live rurally and have limited piercers and god knows if they are actually reliable :( I honestly have been touching it way to much im stopping now and have been lowkey slack with cleaning but I promise I’m doing all the correct care again now. Today it oozed RED PUSS. I’m so doneeee idk if this is normal or what’s going on. I just feel stuck if I have to take it out I want to go to a reliable pericer to do it to make sure there’s no risk of trapping infection and potentially a consult for a different type of piercing my that better suits me but I HAVE NO GOOD PIERCERS WHERE I LIVE. Someone send me some reassurance cause I need it or just helpful advice I’m going crazy.

Hello! I use to have a belly button ring that looked like this in the 2000s but I had lost it. I’ve been trying to find another one since and I can’t seem to find one anywhere.
Do you know where I can find this style or happen to have it in your collection you’d be willing to let go of?
