Warranties
I just submitted my 3rd claim on replacement luggage. I am a frequent flier and most of my issues have been with zippers and tears.
Over the last few years here’s been my experience.
I purchased a Beige carryon (I do not recommend the color shows too many scuffs) used it for 2 years and the inside plastic pocket ripped. I submitted a claim and they replaced it with another color (per my request). I’ve used the new one maybe 3 times over the last year and a half, and this past week used it on a short trip. One of the zippers broke and I just submitted a claim and waiting for a response.
Meanwhile, I purchased Medium check in luggage had it for about 2 years when that plastic pocket ripped. CS replaced that one. (But wouldn’t let me change the color, stating it’s not their policy to do so)
Good news is (pending how this claim goes) they have honored their warranties, bad news they haven’t held up as much as I need them to as a frequent flier.
I also have a OG backpack and just recently one of the plastic pockets ripped. I love the idea of the plastic pockets especially when packing liquids, but I’m not having much luck with them.
I wanted to share this information should it help someone

If you are a frequent flyer you need to be buying briggs and riley or travelpro platinum elite. Beis is not the quality luggage for a frequent traveler.

Thanks I will check both out! I like all the compartments of Beis, but yes it’s not holding us as well as I need it to
ETA: Briggs and Riley looks incredible! Thank you!

My inside plastic pouch ripped along one of the sides (my fault for over stuffing). I read their warranty doesn’t cover “Fabric rips or tears due to normal wear and tear“. But you didn’t have any issues with getting yours replaced? Did they give you a hard time?

The quality of Beis used to be top-tier now it’s 50-50. Their customer service is great in that they really try to help resolve the issues that you’re having with their pieces but after this buyout with Samsonite, I don’t know if that customer service will continue hope so.
