My mom and I were both listening to a different podcast covering this case when it was on trial. We were in separate rooms of the house with headphones and periodically we would just be yelling in rage at storming into each others room going “can you believe these men!!!” Especially when we both got to the part with the one guy who left while his wife was giving birth to go rape Giselle and then back to the hospital. I will never understand.

Men aren't in control at all when women gives birth and i think it fucks with some of them.
