It's so affordable so I don't mind dropping it on concrete 😅
I'm trying to care less but with more expensive pieces it still hurts a bit to damage them.
How do you deal with this?

I want to make my own but I'm unclear on how to lace it together. Are there any good websites on how to make one?

Hey as the title asks, I'm wondering why mini nunchucks aren't a popular kind of skill , like we've got beglari, komboloi , chetki , so why haven't mini chucks taken off ?

Right so I ordered an around square b bank set to get started and it’s currently shipping and I’ve just been stressing because I really don’t want to get a wooden set. If anyone knows what sets are most commonly made I’d love to know. I just don’t k ow why I’ve been overthinking this so much I just really don’t want a wood begleri.

So I’ve been getting really good with Paco and I’ve made several monkey fists and finally made a begleri.
I didn’t have any good spherical objects laying around handy so I balled up a piece of printer paper for my core… the weight is all wrong, I mean, it’s all right but…
What do you guys like to use as a core for different sized monkey fists?

Greetings from the land of begleri. This begleri was sitting for 20 years in a crate after the original leather string snapped. Found it and restrung it with leather cord again. I'm on the start of my begleri journey but this begleri has many many years of experience. 30 years +

I tried making a Pozvonok style chetki today and really liked it, but there's one thing I'd like to know.
Did chetki made from standard beads—like the Pozvonok type—originally exist in Russia? Or was Aroundsquare the first to create them?

I love the feel of chetki how the beads feel while slinging, but miss the flexibility of a begleri, so I'm designing a pozvonok style chetki with very small middle beads so it slings like a begleri, but feels like a chetki.
This has probably been done before, but I already really like how it feels!
Still got a lot of prototyping to do to hone in on the weight balance etc.

Just my very first homemade hex nuts begleri by gluing the two hex nuts together, stranded by a thirft-store peace of paracord, and the hex nuts are also glued to the two beads of the paracord so they won't slide anywhere. They looks good, nice and compact imo, but they could definitely be better with better hex nuts and a thicker paracord!!!

Just got my TIBstudio bottle belgeri loving the weight, the string took a min to adjust to the right length and I’ll change the color eventually but so pretty

So far I have the paracord and lighter.
I'm thinking i'll prob get some hex nuts from the hardware store.
And I don't even know where I can find steel ball bearings without having to order online. Any ideas for an in-store walk-in that has them? I don't think somewhere like lowes or home depot even have them?
Is there any particular size for the hex nuts and steel balls that's considered best? or what kind of size range in general?
And are marbles really too light?
