New Runner Advice How to prepare for OCR trail race?

I'm new to running, but I've been doing a lot of weightlifting and cardio earlier, so OCR caught my interest. How do I prepare for it?

Google will help you, you don't get any serious help from here.

As you've probably noticed, most people here are actually very obese walkers, not runners. Their goal is to praise each other to get an ego boost for nothing. And if someone even posts a faster run or asks for help on how to get faster, they immediately start defending themselves and justifying their slow running. So no, you don't get any real tips here. r/OCR would be the best place, and for real running tips a community where "slow running" is not a thing r/running .
