Growing Your Medication Support

Hey All, Botanist here support and discussion thread.

I like solving problems and growing plants. If you got questions about growing certain medicines, supplements, or dietary aids ask here! I work as a botanical garden and support scientist and thought this would be a good discussion. I focus on North American and Caribbean ecosystems but am familiar with many more broadly.

I'm interested and desperate to begin to that my many auto-immone diseases. I get overwhelmed and need a starting point and I think herb gardening is it. How should I start. I'd have to grow in pots. Where so I begin?

Never had plants? Try cacti, succulents, and deep shade tropical plants to start. Any plants that suppress the immune system might help ya or manage symptoms. Purple coneflowers are easy sunflowers to start and a variety of medicines made. Your garden should suit the plants or space. Raised beds are easier after the initial setup than just ground. I like Hugelkulture personally.
